Jesus Loves the Little Children [June 12]

Hiya!

Today began with another round of Mothers and Toddlers! I'm pretty sure that's one of my favorite activities of the week. The minute Kate picks me up all she talks about is how Barnabee kept saying "I love Becca!" all week long! Not only that but the cute little guy is just talking about dinosaurs all week, which is fab. Then during the session a little red-haired guy ran up to me and said "You're Back!!!" Just lovely. The little girl from last week didn't remember me, so she didn't say hi. But I met a few new friends. It was simply lovely.

I had to leave early to go to the G-SUS bus with Raf. It's now at St. Cenydd (Kenneth) for the week. The classes were very engaged, and the second class even asked some questions! I was really excited to answer some questions. I think that's my favorite part. One girl asked why Jesus was killed by the Jews and another asked why we are called Christians. It was very exciting. It is my prayer that more of the children come to our event on Friday! I would love to meet them and learn their stories.

Afterward Raf and I went to Pete's to discuss our Kid's Club event on friday. You see, the weather has finally turned into normal Welsh weather; the sun is gone and the rain has come. It doesn't bother me so much since I love the rain, but it can be problematic for planning outside events for the youth. So, we went over to Pete's to try and figure out what we were going to do. Their house is massive. Absolutely massive. And beautiful. Nothing but trees and hills in all directions.

Afterward I had about an hour to rest and do a bit of paper work until we were off to Tea at Sarah and Leighton's. Sarah is a mother who comes to the monday morning bible studies and her daughter, Nonnie, is best friends with Rosie, Claire's oldest. So I just got to sit around and play with the kids all night and try and alleviate James' and Jess' fear of dogs (they get it from their mother, Claire. She's petrified of the beasts). It worked out. Kind of. They're still a bit jumpy. Then we made this AWESOME music video.

I haven't had much time to just sit and think today, but I'm almost grateful for all that I am involved in. This has been such a crazy time, and I'm just so excited for these coming weeks. The time is flying already, and part of me wants it to slow down. I'm sort of afraid that I'm just going to wake up and it'll be time to go back home. And, in the same moment, I don't want to slow down. It's just so exciting to see what God is doing here in Wales, and I am just so excited. And grateful. I am so glad God has brought me here.

Pray for tomorrow night. We have another Youth Group session and a mother who comes for breakfast but never stays for the alpha program is letting her daughter come tomorrow! I'm so excited to meet Abby, and I hope that this will be a wonderful experience for her.

Also be in prayer for me. I am beginning to feel better, but it's still all stopped up in my nose and throat. I got this cough medicine thing which I was hoping would help the stuffy nose, but Claire apparently has no idea what kind of medicine to get. So, I have this delicious black currant dry cough helping thing. Tomorrow we will be back at the G-SUS Bus, so be praying for that also.

Thank you for your love and support. Apologies if this seems rushed, I'm just in go mode all day!! I appreciate each and every one of you.

Ta-ta!
